Abbey Wright was Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse for 18 months from 2008-09, during which time she worked with such notable directors as Michael Grandage, Alan Rickman, Jeremy Herrin, Peter Gill, Sean Holmes, Peter Gill, Jamie Lloyd and John Tiffany. She was most recently Staff Director to Danny Boyle on 'Frankenstein' at The National Theatre in 2010-11. Her directing work includes; Lakeboat and Prairie du Chien by David Mamet (Arcola), The Song of Deborah (Lowry), Hidden Glory (Lowry and Tour), Restoration Sketch Show (Theatre Royal Haymarket). Later this year she will direct Conor McPherson's Dublin Carol for The Donmar at Trafalgar Season.
